The East Algarve Autumn Challenge

Nestling against the southern shore of Portugal and adjacent to the Spanish border lies the region of the East Algarve. Still totally unspoilt by over development this region boasts some of the finest and through good management least busy courses in the whole of europe between 31st Oct & 4 November 2011.

Enter the East Algarve Open, an amateur event for golfers of all standards and enjoy 4 star accommodation at the Hotel Porta Nova, golf at Quinta Da Ria, Quinta de Cima and Quinta do Vale, car hire, entertainment and full tournament a management.

This event has been running for 7 years and attracts a regular contingent but always makes new teams very welcome. We are serious about our golf but we are serious about our fun too and both elements feature heavily throughout the week.

Golfing formats include Texas Scramble, 4 Ball Better Ball and Team Best 2 from 4 with both daily and overall prizes. Socially our Opening Evening Cocktail Party always starts things off with a bang when team captians drwa their own statrt times for Round 1, such is th epopularity of our Irish night with Guiness & live Irish Music on Wednesday that Thursday is a rest day to explorethe local beach and Prizes are presemted on Friday night at a lavish formal Dinner.
